Christina Nepstad– Interview Coach and Author
Winning the crown for Miss California and being a Top 10 contestant for the Miss USA title would set anyone’s confidence levels at a record high, right? Not mine. My onstage finalist’s interview with Dick Clark was a total disaster! I stumbled my way through it, red-faced and completely floored by his unexpected question: “How did you overcome your weight issues to get where you are today?” All I heard was “weight issues” and could think of nothing else. Despite rehearsing every potential interview question he might ask me, I sure wasn’t prepared for that one! It rattled my confidence and reminded me of how little I knew about myself. That interview changed everything, setting me on a new course to find the solution for my insecurities and the formula for authentic, powerful communication. “The Power Seat” program is a result of what I discovered in my journey. One thing is for sure, Life will always teach us if we are willing to learn. Turns out my experiences as a model, spokesperson, and Miss California USA provided unexpected insight for what has become a life-changing program for so many. For more than 25 years now, I have been helping to shape the powerful “inner-views” of doctors, inventors, authors, performers, students, and educators. In January 2016, The Power Seat was released followed shortly after by The Power Seat Way. It is extremely humbling to be able to share the very program I developed to help myself, with Community Colleges, Rescue Missions, Especially for Youth, Dale Carnegie, Miss USA/ Miss America programs and so many more. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and The Power Seat. We value you and are here to help you take your Power Seat!
